Information we collect and how we use it
When you submit an inquiry, we collect the contact details, vehicle preferences, appointment preferences, message, and text messaging choices you provide. We use them to respond to your inquiry, arrange visits, and provide requested customer service. Marketing texts are sent only if you separately opt in.
If you submit a credit application, we collect the applicant, residence, employment, income, identification, vehicle, trade-in, and optional co-buyer information you enter, which may include a Social Security number or ITIN. We use this information to review your financing request. Credit-report authorization is a separate optional choice. Text message consent does not authorize a credit check, and credit authorization does not authorize marketing texts.
Mobile information and messaging consent
We do not sell, rent, buy, or share mobile information or text messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging consent is specific to Hillbilly Whips Pre-Owned Auto Sales and is not transferred to another business. Service providers that help us operate and deliver our messaging program may process the information only to provide those services, not for their own marketing.
We record your selected message categories, mobile number, consent wording and version, submission date and time, and the form used to document your choices. Providing a phone number alone is not text messaging consent. You can submit either form without opting into texts.

Website analytics and cookies
Our website uses a random browser identifier in a first-party cookie to estimate visits, together with visited public page paths, broad referral categories such as Google or Facebook, clicks on contact and financing links, and anonymous application starts, steps reached, and successful application or inquiry submissions. Progress events contain only a fixed event name and public page path, never your answers. Referral categories may be held in session storage. Our custom analytics do not store application answers, names, phone numbers, email addresses, IP addresses, or full referral URLs. The tracker skips collection when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can also restrict cookies in your browser. Hosting providers may process technical connection information needed to deliver and secure the website.
Storage and protection
Inquiries and credit applications are encrypted in website storage and accessed through an authorized dealer sign-in. If application email alerts are enabled, they contain a sign-in link rather than applicant details. We retain information as needed to respond to requests, conduct transactions, document consent, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send Social Security numbers or bank details in ordinary inquiries, emails, or text messages.

You may request access to or correction of your information, ask about retention or deletion, or withdraw messaging consent using the contact details below.
